Dear bed ‘I love u’ BeautyRest . “But wait, I’ve got things to do Night time Routine”
In order to have that natural beautiful glow on our skin and have a productive morning, we definitely need that BeautySleep . But, before you get buried under those soft fluffy comforters, you need to follow some healthy night habits that ease you to sleep night time Routine .
I’ve been working as an Analyst for few years now, so I was thinking “Shouldn’t I write this blog as a Product documentation?!??!!!” So here, presenting my Night time Routine product document for review.
Night time Routine – Requirement Phase:
Firstly, Program your body to a #NightRoutine that suits your schedule. Setup a NightRoutine to sleep better and wake up to a productive morning. We all need that #BeautyRest for sure. “But, what should one do before you get #buried under those soft fluffy comforters?”
Night time Routine – Planning Phase:
1. Plan outfit for the following morning
Firstly, Don’t forget to evaluate your outfit – change and rearrange the accessories and shoes if needed. Trust me! this will boost your confidence!! Don’t forget to checkout my outfits. Let ‘Pink be the new black’ !
2. Plan your breakfast
Secondly, plan your breakfast. If you are planning for oats, soak the oats in milk and fruits in a mason jar for the morning. Or if the plan is to make a smoothie then wash the blender and keep it ready for the morning. If its a coffee then arrange the serving tray on the island.
My personal favorite go-to breakfast is Waffles . I keep the waffle maker, serving plates, cutlery, tray and the syrup on the island – so I can make some hot breakfast every morning with no stress. Plan it sweetheart!
3. Plan for a Comfy Cozy Bedroom
Thirdly, Choose an essential oil diffuser with a built humidifier or de-Humidifier based on which season. I love to use Lavender essential oil in my diffuser. And if you are a light sleeper, use a NoiseCanceller like this. This makes me feel less stressful and I can have relaxed mornings.
Night time Routine – Implementation Phase:
1. Get off your devices at least 30 minutes before your bed time.
Get off your devices at least 30 minutes before your bed time. If you can’t achieve this, many phones (like iPhone) have a builtin bedtime alarm – which notifies you before 30 minutes of your bedtime (you can always customize that). I like these kind of automatic alarms – No action point on me 😉
2. Pamper your skin reallllllllly well before you go to bed.
Skincare is an essential part of the nighttime routine.
But remember that makeup has to come off before you go to bed.
This is really essential in order to make your skin breathe while you are asleep.
Never sleep with your makeup ‘ON’. Cleanse baby cleanse
Moisturize! Well, this is my favorite part! I personally recommend Sheiseido Bio performance Revitalizing cream – it leaves my skin dewy and plump.
Why don’t you want to choose a tinted lip balm for those special nights 😉 wink 😉 wink
3. Drink a calming tea
We can use ‘Not only skin care, but also calming teas’ to relax. Don’t be scared to try a caffeine Free Tea at night or you can serve it to your guests. Personally, I love to serve Chamomile Tea whenever I have a Pajama Party or whenever we have guests at my home for a sleepOver .
4. Read a book
Choose a Novel of you favorite author or an interesting genre. No reading on cell phones or AmazonKindle please please!! If you don’t have a favorite author or a favorite genre, then you can read comics like I do 😉 .
Night time Routine – Testing Phase:
I’m already on the bed, had a glass of Chamomile tea and turned my Diffuser ON with some Lavender essential oil and yyaaaawn!! off I go to sleep, good night !
